In 2020, I was on my assignment to test the Zeiss ZX1 camera during my travel in the Philippines. I was able to witness many unique moments and from few selected pictures I created a photobook. During the time when I captured all these photographs in this book, we were in crises of the global risks, triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, I had limited possibilities of travel to specific locations in the mega city. We are experiencing an historic event that will change many aspects of the world we live in. The impressions and moments throughout these photographs are reflecting the nature of work, and human behaviors. These days to manage the delicate unpredictable responses on the street from people, takes the street photography to a new ballpark. The stakes are high, not only in the obvious health consequences of miss-steps but also in handling public perceptions of street photography.
